#IceBucketChallenge

ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) also known as Lou Gehrig's disease causes muscle spasticity, rapidly progressive weakness due to muscle atrophy, and difficulty in speaking (dysarthria), swallowing (dysphagia), and breathing (dyspnea). To increase awareness about ALS Corey Griffin co-founded the Ice Bucket Challenge after his friend Pete Frates got diagnosed with the disease. Within 24 hours of being challenged, participants are to video record themselves in continuous footage. First, they are to announce their acceptance of the challenge followed by pouring ice into a bucket of water. The bucket is then to be lifted overhead and poured over the participant's head. Then the participant can call out a challenge to other people. Whether people choose to donate, perform the challenge, or do both varies. In one version of the challenge, the participant is expected to donate $10 if they have poured the ice water over their head or donate $100 if they have not. So doing the Ice Bucket Challenge isn't just for fun its also for a great cause and big names like Mark Zuckerberg, and Bill Gates and even famous stars like Justine Timberlake, Adam Levine, and Jennifer Lopez and also retired President George W. Bush also joined in and also sports icons like LeBron Jame, and David Beckham also did the challenge and also famous stars and sports icons here in the Philippines are also doing the challenge like Manny Pacquiao, Team Gilas Pilipinas, and Jeric Teng so this is a considered (HOT @ THE PHILIPPINES).
